If you like a savory pie crust that blends nicely with the sweet spiced flavors of an apple pie filling, then this mini apple pies recipe is for you. Using salted butter vs. unsalted gives these mini apple pies a biscuit like flavor that’s buttery, flakey, and delicious.
Total Time • 60 minutes
Makes 3-4 servings depending on thickness of crust
Tip: This recipe calls for very cold butter. Do not remove butter from fridge until you are ready to use it. The more you handle the dough the less flaky your crust will be.
Stack two quarters next to pie crust to measure a 1/8 inch dough, the perfect thickness for flaky pie crust.
Bake mini apple pies for 40-45 minutes at 350°F until edges of the crust are golden brown, and the filling is bubbling. Allow pies to cook for a minimum of 20 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature!

One of the easiest, and stunning ways to entertain guests is to present a charcuterie board for them to enjoy.
